Matt Jernigan

Matt is a founding member of BUSAR and Executive Director. He has over 25 years of outdoor experience backpacking, mountain biking, trail running and adventure racing.

Having grown up in East Tennessee, he has a deep knowledge of the Appalachian Mountains and is a Smoky Mountains 900 miler, having hiked all trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
